The measure of suspending or withdrawing the authorization is notified to the authorization holder by a letter signed by the President of the Commission. The notification shall state the legal basis and the reasons that led to this measure being taken. In the case of suspension, the period of suspension shall also be stated.

The suspension and the withdrawal of the authorization become effective as soon as they have been brought to the attention of the legally established entity. Signing for receipt of the correspondence constitutes proof of having been informed.

d) the obligation of the holder to return the original of the authorization to the Commission immediately.

The suspension measure is taken in cases which are considered capable of being resolved within a period of no more than 4 calendar months. If this requirement cannot be met, the measure of withdrawing the authorization is taken.

The suspension is lifted by notifying the holder on the basis of an inspection report in which it has been found that all the reasons underlying the suspension measure have been removed.

The lifting of the suspension becomes effective upon receipt of the notification signed by the President of the Commission and of the original of the authorization.
