Transfer authorization

• Transfer authorization
The transfer authorization is issued for each radiological installation or class of installations and radiation sources owned by the authorization holder.

Transfer is authorized only to recipients authorized to use the radiological installations or radiation sources being transferred.

The transfer of radiological installations that are defective or lack the related technical documentation is prohibited.

The following are not considered transfers and do not need to be authorized:
a) moving radiological installations or radiation sources between the administrative units of the same legally established entity;
b) handing them over as radioactive waste to organizations specialized in the collection and treatment of radioactive waste;
c) sending them temporarily to an authorized workshop to be repaired or tested;
d) following the division of a legally established entity, where, in the legal deeds of division, the radiological installation or radiation sources, including the fitted-out premises, appear among the assets of the new legally established entities resulting from the division.
