Whistleblowers (Law no. 361/2022)

Any person who obtains information about breaches of the law in a work-related context may report those facts, under the conditions of Law no. 361/2022 on the protection of whistleblowers in the public interest.

Internal reporting

Reports may be submitted to CNCAN, in writing, at office@cncan.ro or through the institution's registry office. The identity of the whistleblower is confidential, and reports may also be made anonymously.

External reporting — the national ANI platform

External reports may be submitted to the National Integrity Agency through the platform dedicated to whistleblowers in the public interest:

Protection of the whistleblower

The law prohibits any retaliatory measure against a person who reports breaches of the law in good faith.
