Authorization of the practice of producing radiological installations and radiation sources allows the activities of production and processing, possession, storage and supply to be carried out.

The holder of the production authorization is obliged to obtain the radiological safety authorization for the products it wishes to manufacture.

The supply of products that have not obtained the radiological safety authorization for the product is prohibited.

The production process must be organized under a quality assurance system certified by a notified body in the nuclear field.
