European group of regulatory bodies in the field of nuclear safety and radioactive waste management (European Nuclear Safety Regulators Group – ENSREG) 

ENSREG is an independent group composed of representatives of the authorities regulating the safety of nuclear installations in the Member States of the European Union, which supports the European Commission in establishing the conditions for the continuous improvement of nuclear safety and in reaching a common position in the field of nuclear safety. ENSREG submits reports on its activities to the EU institutions.

ENSREG carries out its work in plenary meetings and in specific working groups organized by field of activity: nuclear safety; decommissioning of nuclear installations and radioactive waste management; regulations concerning transparency.
