CIPRIERN — Centre for Information, Preparedness and Response to Radiological or Nuclear Incidents and Events

CIPRIERN — the Centre for Information, Preparedness and Response to Radiological or Nuclear Incidents and Events — ensures public information, staff training and the response to radiological or nuclear incidents and events.

Responsibilities

  • informing the public and the authorities about radiological or nuclear events;
  • training and further training of the personnel involved in emergency response;
  • participation in national and international exercises;
  • cooperation with the CNCAN Emergency Operations Centre.
