  • Activity A4.1: Development of the methodology for regulatory review of the radiation protection program applied in the transport of radioactive materials.

-         Methodology for regulatory review of the radiation protection program applied in the transport of radioactive materials

-         12 CNCAN staff trained in the methodology

 

  • Activity A4.2: Development of regulatory review of the safety assessment report methodology of B(U), B(U)F, B(M), B(M)F packages in support of granting type approval/validation of type approval certificates.

-          Methodology for regulatory review of the safety assessment report in support of the granting type approval/validation of type approval certificates for B(U), B(U)F, B(M), B(M)F packages

-          3 CNCAN staff trained and training materials

 

  • Activity A4.3: Development of the regulatory review methodology of the testing facilities.

  • Activity A4.4:Training of CNCAN staff and staff of other institutions with responsibilities in ensuring safety and security of nuclear and radioactive material during transport and transit

-          Trained of 29 participants from which 5 CNCAN staff and 23 staff of other institutions with responsibilities in ensuring safety and security of nuclear and radioactive materials during transport and transit

-          Training materials

 

  • Activity A4.5: Implementation of a pilot real-time tracking system during transport of radiation sources in exposure devices and nuclear materials

 

Deliverables for A4.5:

-         Acquisition of a pilot real-time tracking system during transport of radiation sources in exposure devices and nuclear material

-         Training of 8 CNCAN staff and 7 staff from the institutions involved in the transport of radioactive sources on the use of the pilot real-time tracking system during transport of radiation sources in exposure devices and nuclear material
